Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced the recall of defenseman Riley Stillman from the Chicago Wolves. The team has also assigned goaltender Yaniv Perets to the Wolves.

Stillman, aged 26, missed the initial 14 games of the season due to a lower body injury. He has contributed two assists in six games with the Wolves this season. Last season, he played for the Rochester Americans and accumulated six points and 49 penalty minutes over 47 games. Standing at 6’2” and weighing 207 pounds, Stillman joined Carolina as a free agent on July 3. He was originally drafted by Florida in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft and has recorded 26 points in his NHL career with various teams including Florida, Chicago, Vancouver, and Buffalo.

Yaniv Perets made his season debut recently in Florida, where he stopped six out of seven shots during the third period. The 24-year-old goaltender holds a record of one win and two losses this season in three AHL games with Chicago. Previously, he played for the Norfolk Admirals in the ECHL last season. Perets made his NHL debut with Carolina against Los Angeles on January 15, stopping one shot during his time on ice.
