Three members of the NC State men's soccer team have been recognized with All-ACC honors, as announced by the conference office. Taig Healy and Hakim Karamoko were named to the All-ACC Second Team, while Niko Markovic was selected for the All-Freshman team.
Hakim Karamoko concluded the season as a leading player for NC State, finishing with seven goals and 16 points. The New York native also tied for second on the team with 38 shots taken. Throughout the regular season, he participated in all 16 games, starting in 11 and providing two assists. Karamoko had previously been included in the ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List following his performance in 2023 when he earned All-Freshman Team honors.
Taig Healy's contribution to NC State's success this year earned him a spot on the All-ACC Second Team. He recorded six goals and three assists during the season. A transfer from New Hampshire, Healy made an immediate impact at NC State and was listed at No. 65 on TopDrawerSoccer's Top-100 Midseason Watch List. Notably, five of his goals came in the first nine games of 2024 against teams such as High Point, James Madison, and Duke. He started all 17 games and scored his sixth goal during the opening round of the ACC Tournament against Virginia.
Niko Markovic received All-Freshman honors due to his strong performance on defense for NC State. Initially not a starter, Markovic stepped up early in the season due to an injury within the team and secured a starting position for himself. The Quebec native played in all remaining 14 games of the season after earning his spot. Additionally, he recorded two assists during matches against Winthrop and William & Mary.
The Wolfpack finished ninth in the ACC for the regular season and hosted Virginia in their first-round match of the conference tournament. They now await Monday's announcement of the NCAA Tournament bracket.
