The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on Monday night. The game follows a loss for the Hurricanes, who were defeated 6-4 by the Colorado Avalanche, ending their eight-game winning streak.

Jordan Martinook stood out in the last game with two goals and an assist. Martin Necas also contributed with one goal and one assist, extending his career-best point streak to nine games. Andrei Svechnikov maintained his own point streak with an assist against Colorado.

As of now, it remains uncertain which goaltender will start for Carolina in tonight's match. Spencer Martin recently played against Colorado, while Pyotr Kochetkov had been starting prior to that game.

On the other side, the Golden Knights have points from their last three games and have been performing well offensively this season. Jack Eichel and Mark Stone lead their scoring efforts. Adin Hill has been active as a goaltender for Vegas with strong recent performances.

Injury updates include Jesper Fast being ruled out for the season since August, Riley Stillman nearing availability after practicing regularly since October, and Frederik Andersen being week-to-week due to a lower-body injury sustained in late October.

The Hurricanes will wear white uniforms for tonight's game and plan to travel to Utah immediately afterward. They are scheduled to practice there on Tuesday before playing in Salt Lake City on Wednesday.
