Pyotr Kochetkov is set to be the starting goaltender for the Carolina Hurricanes as they face the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. This decision follows Frederik Andersen's strong performance against the Blackhawks. Kochetkov aims to build on his recent success, having secured his 17th win of the season with 29 saves out of 31 shots in a previous game against Vegas. This will mark his third encounter with Dallas.

Seth Jarvis, a forward for the Hurricanes, is entering the game with an impressive scoring streak, having netted seven goals in his last eight games. He currently has 16 goals this season, tying him with Martin Necas for second place on the team and trailing Jack Roslovic by one goal.
