Carolina Hurricanes partner with Capitol Broadcasting for Thanksgiving week broadcasts

Doug Warf, President of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced a partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) to simulcast two FanDuel Sports Network game broadcasts on CBC's Triangle channels. The Hurricanes' match against the Dallas Stars is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, and will be aired on FOX 50 at 7 p.m. Additionally, their game on Friday, November 29, will be broadcasted at 3 p.m. on WRAL.

Warf expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: "We’re excited to partner with our friends at Capitol Broadcasting to expand access to our live broadcasts during Thanksgiving week," he said. He also acknowledged FanDuel Sports Network's role in facilitating the simulcasts over WRAZ and WRAL.

Joel Davis, Vice President and General Manager of WRAL & FOX 50, shared his excitement about the partnership: "We are thrilled to partner with The Carolina Hurricanes and provide North Carolina with the opportunity to watch the best hockey team in the country." He emphasized their commitment to delivering entertainment that viewers care about.

In addition to Fox 50 and WRAL, these games will also be available on other stations in the Carolinas owned by Gray Media and Hearst Television.

Capitol Broadcasting Company is a diversified communications entity operating various media outlets including WRAL-TV and WRAZ-TV in Raleigh, NC. It also holds interests in several sports teams and real estate properties across North Carolina and South Carolina.
