The Carolina Hurricanes will conclude a four-game homestand by facing the Pittsburgh Penguins at Lenovo Center on Thursday. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network South and available for listening on 99.9 The Fan.

The Hurricanes currently hold a record of 9-2-0, sharing the top position in the Metropolitan Division with 18 points. They are coming off a recent victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, winning 6-4 on Tuesday, November 5. Martin Necas scored the decisive goal in that game with only 31 seconds remaining.

Several players from the Hurricanes are aiming to extend their personal streaks during this match. Martin Necas has accumulated 17 points over seven games, Andrei Svechnikov has eight points in six games, Dmitry Orlov has four points in three games, and Pyotr Kochetkov has secured five consecutive wins as goaltender.

This game marks the second encounter between the Hurricanes and Penguins this season after their first meeting resulted in a 4-1 victory for Carolina on October 18 at PPG Paints Arena.

In terms of player milestones, Sebastian Aho is one game-winning goal away from surpassing Ron Francis's franchise record of 58 goals. Eric Robinson and Sean Walker are each three points away from reaching their respective career milestones of 100 NHL points.
