Congresswoman Deborah Ross, representing North Carolina's 2nd district, has recently taken to social media to express her concerns regarding proposed cuts to vital services and funding. Her tweets focus on the implications of these potential reductions for Americans and specifically for residents of North Carolina.

On March 11, 2025, Congresswoman Ross addressed the issue of service cuts in a tweet: "Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. Musk and Trump aren't even hiding their plans to cut services that millions of Americans rely on."

Later that day, she tweeted about a rally held in Raleigh against policies perceived as anti-science: "We will not stand for attacks against science. In Raleigh, we rallied against Trump's anti-science agenda."

In another post from the same day, Ross criticized House Republicans' financial decisions: "House Republicans' blank check allows Trump and Musk to continue their assault on the funding and services that North Carolinians rely on, including veterans' health care & housing support. These cuts are reckless and cruel. I voted NO."
