Ralliant Corporation, a global provider of precision technologies, has announced plans to establish its global headquarters in Wake County, North Carolina. The move will create 180 jobs and involve an investment of $2.1 million in Raleigh’s North Hills area.
The company is set to become an independent public entity following its separation from Fortive Corporation in early Q3 2025. Ralliant's formation stems from Fortive’s Precision Technologies segment, which boasts industry-leading brands with approximately $2 billion in revenue. The new headquarters aims to foster innovation and growth within the region.
"Raleigh is an ideal location with its strong high-tech research presence, top universities, skilled workforce, and proximity to our operating companies," said Tami Newcombe, President and CEO of Ralliant. "We are excited to build our future here—driving breakthroughs, empowering progress, and shaping what’s next."
The decision to locate the headquarters in Raleigh highlights the area's robust economy and talent pool. Raleigh was recently recognized as a top city for headquarters by Site Selection Magazine.
"We understand that companies have many options for establishing a new headquarters location," said City of Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell. "Ralliant Corporation chose a city with a talented workforce, a high quality of life, and a safe, welcoming environment."
Chair Susan Evans of the Wake County Board of Commissioners shared her enthusiasm about the job creation aspect: "I’m excited to share that the Ralliant Corporation will bring up to 180 new jobs with an average salary of $189,479 to Wake County over the next five years."
This development was facilitated through collaboration among several partners including Raleigh Economic Development (RED), Wake County Economic Development (WCED), Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce programs, Capital Area Workforce Development Board, City of Raleigh officials, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC), North Carolina Department of Commerce (NCDC), N.C.
