Governor Josh Stein has announced that Ralliant Corporation will establish its global headquarters in Wake County, North Carolina. The company plans to invest $2.1 million in Raleigh’s North Hills area and create 180 jobs. Ralliant, a provider of precision technologies, will become an independent public company after separating from Fortive Corporation in early Q3 2025.

Tami Newcombe, President and CEO of Ralliant, expressed enthusiasm about the move: “Raleigh is an ideal location with its strong high-tech research presence, top universities, skilled workforce, and proximity to our operating companies. We are excited to build our future here—driving breakthroughs, empowering progress, and shaping what’s next.”

Raleigh's appeal as a business hub was highlighted by Mayor Janet Cowell: “We understand that companies have many options for establishing a new headquarters location. Ralliant Corporation chose a city with a talented workforce, a high quality of life, and a safe, welcoming environment.”

The decision to locate in Raleigh was influenced by the region's technology talent pool. Chair Susan Evans of the Wake County Board of Commissioners stated: “I’m excited to share that the Ralliant Corporation will bring up to 180 new jobs with an average salary of $189,479 to Wake County over the next five years.”

The announcement was facilitated by collaboration among several partners including Raleigh Economic Development (RED), Wake County Economic Development (WCED), and other local organizations. RED supports job creation and capital investment in Raleigh as part of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
