The Pitt County Republican Party has announced new leadership following its recent convention in Greenville, North Carolina. Drock Vincent was elected as the new Chairman, with Ralph Whitehurst stepping into the role of Vice Chairman. Vincent is known for his conservative values and business acumen as the owner of Heritage Plank Floors of Ayden.
"I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Pitt County GOP," said Drock Vincent. "Our party is strong, and together, we will work tirelessly to elect conservative leaders, engage our community, and promote the values that make Pitt County and North Carolina great."
Alongside Vincent and Whitehurst, Greg Morrison has been elected as Second Vice Chairman and Elizabeth Widner as Secretary. Their appointments are expected to bolster grassroots initiatives, enhance voter participation, and maintain a robust Republican presence in the area.
The party expressed gratitude towards outgoing officers: Chairman Gary Weaver, Vice Chair Brenda Smith, and former Treasurer Terry Monday. Their contributions have significantly strengthened the local Republican movement.
