Wake Libraries offer 21 programs for Women's History Month

Wake County Public Libraries is set to commemorate Women’s History Month with a series of 21 programs aimed at inspiring, educating, and celebrating the contributions of women throughout history. The events will cover a range of topics from music and film to historical figures and pop culture, providing the community with opportunities to engage with women's stories from both past and present.

“Wake County Public Libraries is bringing Women’s History Month to life with engaging programs that highlight the achievements and impact of women throughout history,” stated Susan Evans, chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners. “We invite the community to join us in learning about these incredible stories.”

The programs are designed for all age groups. While participation is free, some events require prior registration.

A comprehensive schedule of events is available on the Wake County website at wake.gov/Libraries by selecting “Women’s History Month” from the Event Category drop-down menu.
