Andersen had been sidelined since October 28 and missed 38 games during this period. Andersen's career spans 499 NHL games with teams including the Ducks, Maple Leafs, and Hurricanes. His overall record stands at 298-128-52 with a goals-against average of 2.55 and a save percentage of .916.
In related news, Dustin Tokarski has been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves in the AHL. This season he has achieved a record of 4-2-0 in six appearances for the Hurricanes with a goals-against average of 2.18 and a save percentage of .902.
Tokarski’s professional history includes playing for several NHL teams such as Tampa Bay, Montreal, Anaheim, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Carolina. In his career spanning 86 NHL games, he holds a record of 27-36-12 with an average goal allowance per game at 3.08 and a save rate at .902.
The Humboldt native also boasts an extensive AHL career across 428 games achieving two Calder Cup victories in Norfolk (2012) and Charlotte (2019).
