On March 12, 2025, Ross addressed the ongoing healthcare debate in Congress. She stated: "While Republicans slash access to health care for Americans, @USRepKCastor, @RonWyden, and I are fighting to improve our country’s health care system. This legislation protects North Carolina families from fraud."
The following day, on March 13, 2025, she criticized former President Trump's actions regarding support for Western North Carolina. She expressed: "Trump promised to provide support for Western NC, but he's playing politics while Asheville needs this support to rebuild."
Later that same day, Ross commented on the Republican funding plan which she believes adversely affects essential services. She noted: "Republicans’ funding plan includes harmful cuts to the services North Carolinians rely on, especially for veterans and housing. It also empowers Musk to gut essential federal agencies. I'm for a clean, monthlong extension that reins in Musk's authority."
