Congresswoman Deborah Ross, who has represented North Carolina's 2nd district since 2021, recently shared her views on social media regarding the political climate and specific policies under President Trump's administration. Ross has been vocal about her stance against certain measures she perceives as detrimental to her constituents.

On March 4, 2025, Ross expressed her determination to advocate for North Carolinians during Trump's Address to Congress. She stated, "Some thoughts before I take my seat at Trump's Address to Congress. I will continue standing up for North Carolinians everywhere who are already feeling the effects of Trump's agenda ".

The following day, on March 5, 2025, she critiqued the administration's approach to inflation by questioning its effectiveness. She tweeted, "His 'plan' to tackle inflation? He's been in office for over a month and prices have only increased. His 'plan' doesn't exist and it never did."

In another tweet on the same day, Ross commented on Elon Musk's influence in politics with a reminder that he was not elected into an official governmental position. She posted, "Reminder: Nobody elected Elon Musk as co-President."
