Tori Ensley, Jerry Fox, and Grayson McCall have been honored as the October 2024 recipients of the Heart of the Pack award. This announcement was made by the NC State Department of Athletics.
The Heart of the Pack award is designed to recognize student-athletes who consistently embody certain core values: being a good teammate, showing effort, maintaining a positive attitude, and being mindful. The criteria are collectively referred to as TEAM.
Student-athletes from all sports are evaluated and nominated each month. Voting is conducted by Pack Performance, an interdisciplinary team dedicated to supporting the overall development of student-athletes. This team includes experts in strength and conditioning, academics, sports medicine, mental health and performance psychology, sports nutrition, and student-athlete engagement and leadership.
