NC State men's soccer will commence its 2024 regular season campaign on Thursday night at home against High Point. The match is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start at Dail Soccer Field.

The game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, and live stats will be available online.

A victory on Thursday would mark the 551st win in program history (550-487-111), the 233rd win in head coach Hubbard's career (232-52-37), his first victory at NC State, and the first win over High Point since the 2022 season.

The Wolfpack and the Panthers are set to meet for the 18th time in program history. Since their initial matchup in 1975, NC State has outscored High Point 56-24. Their most recent encounter occurred in October of last season, ending in a scoreless tie where High Point outshot NC State 8-5. Sam Terranova, a returning player for the 2024 season, recorded four saves during that match.

Thursday's game will feature a "Red Out," encouraging fans to wear all red for the first home men's soccer match of the year. In recent seasons, NC State has seen strong attendance figures at its home openers, surpassing 1,000 fans three times in the last five years: in 2023 (1,447), 2022 (1,534), and 2021 (1,141).

NC State was picked to finish 11th in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that includes five of the nation's pre-season top-10 teams.
