RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State women's soccer head coach Tim Santoro announced the program's 2024 schedule on Wednesday morning. The 18-game slate features 10 home matches at Dail Soccer Stadium, beginning with the season opener against App State on Thursday, Aug. 15.
After opening the season with an exhibition against Carolina Ascent in Charlotte on Aug. 8, the Wolfpack welcomes App State (Aug. 15) and East Carolina (Aug. 18) for a pair of home matchups on opening weekend.
The Pack then hits the road for matches at Campbell (Aug. 22) and VCU (Aug. 25). NC State returns to Dail Soccer Stadium following the two-game road trip to play five of its next six matches at home, hosting Charlotte (Aug. 28), Colorado (Sept. 1), and William & Mary (Sept. 12) to conclude its nonconference schedule.
NC State opens ACC action against new league members Cal (Sept. 19) and Stanford (Sept. 22) at Dail Soccer Stadium. Prior to league play, NC State travels to Piscataway, New Jersey, for a contest at Big Ten foe Rutgers on Sept. 8.
Following a stretch of five out of six games at home, NC State will play four of its next five on the road, competing in its ACC road opener at Notre Dame on Sept. 26 before facing Louisville (Sept. 29), Virginia (Oct. 10), and Syracuse (Oct. 17). The sole home match during that span is an ACC matchup against Boston College on Oct. 3.
NC State hosts ACC Tournament runner-up Clemson (Oct.20) before hosting Virginia Tech on Oct.24 for its regular-season home finale.The Wolfpack concludes its regular-season slate at Wake Forest on Halloween.
Campus sites will host opening round matchups of the ACC Tournament on Nov.3.The semifinals will be held in Cary at WakeMed Soccer Park from Nov7-10.
The NCAA First Round is slated for Nov15-17, while the second and third rounds will be held Nov22-24.The Elite Eight will be played Nov28-Dec1at select campus sites before the NCAA College Cup returns to WakeMed Soccer Park from Dec6-9.
The program welcomes eleven newcomers to the roster,five of whom arrived in January and competed for the Pack in Spring2024.The recruiting class features student-athletes from five countries,four players capped with international experience,and includes five transfers.
