Congresswoman Deborah Ross, who has been representing North Carolina's 2nd district since 2021, recently expressed her views on various political matters through a series of tweets. Her statements touched on topics ranging from employment reinstatements to educational funding and the passing of a colleague.

On March 13, 2025, Ross commented on a recent judicial decision concerning federal employees. She stated, "These are park rangers, veteran health care providers, and nuclear researchers who Trump and Musk fired without reason. I'm relieved to see a federal judge ordered tens of thousands of these workers to be reinstated immediately."

Later that day, Ross addressed the issue of educational funding in another tweet. She criticized former President Trump and Elon Musk for their attempts to cut educational resources while praising North Carolina Governor Stein for his pro-education stance. She wrote, "While Trump and Musk try to eliminate the Dept. of Education and millions of dollars in funding for students across the country, @NC_Governor Stein shows what it means to be firmly pro-education."

The following day, March 14, 2025, Ross mourned the loss of a fellow Congress member with whom she shared environmental advocacy efforts. She tweeted about Representative Raul Grijalva's passing: "I'm devastated that we've lost a dear friend and colleague, Rep. Grijalva. No one did more to fight for our environment and public lands than Raul Grijalva. He will be greatly missed in the halls of Congress, but his spirit and legacy will live on."
