Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced that defenseman Riley Stillman will be recalled from the Chicago Wolves. This decision coincides with placing forward Jack Drury on Injured Reserve.
Stillman, 26, has been absent from NHL games this season due to a lower-body injury that kept him out for the first 14 games. He has since recorded four points in nine games with the Wolves. Last season, he played for the Rochester Americans and signed with Carolina as a free agent in July. Stillman was originally drafted by Florida in 2016 and has accumulated 26 points across his NHL career.
Drury, who is recovering from hand surgery conducted on December 12, has missed eight recent games for the Hurricanes. This season, he has registered nine points over 28 games. Drury was selected by Carolina in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft and boasts a record of 46 points over his regular-season NHL career. His contributions were pivotal during his time with Chicago Wolves, notably aiding their Calder Cup victory in 2022.
