Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced that defenseman Riley Stillman will be joining the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Stillman, aged 26, was unable to participate in the first 14 games of the Hurricanes' season due to a lower body injury. He has yet to play in an NHL game this season but has contributed four points, consisting of one goal and three assists, over nine games with the Wolves. Last season, Stillman played for the Rochester Americans and accumulated six points and 49 penalty minutes across 47 games. The Peterborough, Ontario native stands at 6’2” and weighs 207 pounds. He joined Carolina as a free agent on July 3.
Originally drafted by Florida in the fourth round as the 114th overall pick during the 2016 NHL Draft, Stillman has achieved a total of 26 points from four goals and 22 assists throughout his career spanning 158 NHL games with teams including Florida, Chicago, Vancouver, and Buffalo.
