The North Carolina Republican Party has urged the N.C. State Board of Elections (NCSBE) to issue a written order following its decision on December 11 to dismiss protests filed by Jefferson Griffin. The party argues that the delay in providing this order compromises transparency and fairness in elections.

During the meeting, the NCSBE dismissed concerns raised by Judge Griffin regarding irregularities in the November 5 election. This dismissal has led to criticism from Republican leaders and voters, who believe it reflects partisanship affecting fair elections.

"Their meeting did nothing to improve confidence in elections administration and only strengthened our resolve to counting every legal vote in the November 5 election," stated Simmons.

The absence of a written order is seen as obstructing necessary legal actions aimed at protecting election integrity. It raises questions about the board's impartiality and hinders efforts towards electoral accountability.

North Carolina voters expect an unbiased and efficient elections board that serves all citizens without political influence.
