The second set saw NC State starting strong with a 3-1 lead, but Miami quickly leveled the score. Despite several close calls, the Wolfpack managed to secure a 25-20 victory thanks to a block by senior Jada Allen. By this point, Amanda Rice and Bryant had each recorded ten kills.

In the fourth set, after trailing initially, NC State equalized at 12-all with a service ace from junior Sydney Daniels. The team maintained their momentum despite Miami's attempts to catch up, ultimately winning the set 25-20 and claiming the match.
Amanda Rice achieved her first career double-double with 19 kills and 20 digs. Skye Stokes also made significant contributions with three service aces—the eighth time she has achieved three or more aces in a match this season.
