The Carolina Hurricanes are preparing for potential lineup changes as they face the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. Coach Rod Brind'Amour indicated that adjustments might be necessary due to some players being "nicked up." Although specific names were not disclosed, Tyson Jost's participation is under consideration.

Jost, a 26-year-old forward, has contributed one goal and two assists in eight games with the Chicago Wolves this season. His inclusion in the game remains uncertain.

Pyotr Kochetkov is anticipated to be the starting goaltender after a brief break on Saturday. He aims to secure his seventh consecutive win, building on his impressive 7-1 record.

Jordan Martinook enters the match with goals in three straight games, while Martin Necas seeks to extend his point streak to ten games, a milestone achieved by only nine other players in franchise history since relocation.

Tonight's betting odds from Fanatics Sportsbook list the Hurricanes at -145. The projected lineup includes forwards Svechnikov, Aho, Roslovic; Robinson, Kotkaniemi, Necas; Martinook, Staal, Jarvis; and Carrier, Drury, Blake. On defense are Slavin-Burns; Orlov-Chatfield; Gostisbehere-Walker. Kochetkov will start as goaltender with Martin as backup.

Injuries affecting the team include Frederik Andersen (lower-body), Jesper Fast (neck), and Riley Stillman (lower-body). Fast is out for the season while Stillman is practicing again.

Power play units feature Aho, Jarvis, Necas, Svechnikov with Gostisbehere on PP1 and Blake, Drury, Kotkaniemi, Roslovic with Burns on PP2.

The game is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. local time in Las Vegas.
