NC State women's soccer team is set to host Charlotte for its first of two home matches this week at Dail Soccer Stadium. The match will take place on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, and live stats will also be available.

In their series history, NC State (1-2-1) and Charlotte (0-3-1) have faced each other seven times. Notably, NC State holds a 3-4 record against Charlotte. They last met on August 20, 2023, when NC State overcame a halftime deficit to secure a 2-1 victory. Alexis Strickland and Leyah Hall-Robinson were pivotal in that win.

Charlotte is coming off three consecutive home losses and a draw against App State. Senior forward Macey Bader has scored both of Charlotte's goals this season. Goalkeeper Emma Wakeman has played every minute of the team's four matches so far.

NC State's offense showed significant improvement in their recent match against VCU, where they won 5-0. This marked their first time scoring five goals in a single match since September 9, 2021.

Under Coach Tim Santoro's tenure since 2013, NC State has maintained an impressive record of 67-4-5 when scoring multiple goals in a match.

The Wolfpack was recently ranked No. 27 on SoccerWire's list of the best college soccer teams based on performances over the past five seasons. The team has consistently secured spots in the NCAA Tournament and made Sweet 16 appearances in recent years.

Additionally, freshman defender Janet Okeke has been named to Canada's U-20 Women's World Cup team for the tournament starting August 31 in Colombia.
