Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, a representative from Washington state, has recently taken to social media to express her views on various matters. Through a series of tweets, she conveyed both holiday well-wishes and political criticisms.

On April 20, Strickland extended holiday greetings, saying "Happy #Easter to all those celebrating in the #SouthSound and across the nation."

Later that same day, Strickland's tone shifted as she tweeted a brief message, "#ResignNowPete."

On the following day, April 21, Strickland directed criticism at Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. She tweeted, "Your skid marks are showing. @SecDef Hegseth was unqualified for confirmation, and proving unfit to serve. Your gaslighting puts our troops and national security at risk. #ResignNowSecDef."

Additional information for Step 3: Pete Hegseth is the current Secretary of Defense under the administration as of 2025.
