On April 20, Senator Sawyer conveyed her Easter greetings through a social media post. She expressed, "Happy Easter! As we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, may we be reminded of the hope and renewal that this season brings. Wishing you and your family a joyful and blessed day!"

In a subsequent message dated April 21, Sawyer recounted her visit to the Iredell County Emergency Communications Center in honor of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.
