Wake County Public Libraries are offering library cardholders access to Gale Presents: Udemy, an online platform with over 25,000 expert-led video courses. This initiative aims to support career growth, personal development, and lifelong learning among residents.

The offering includes courses on a range of topics, from business and technology to personal development and skilled trades. Additionally, specialized content is available for English language learners and job seekers seeking to develop critical workplace skills.

Susan Evans, chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, "This offering removes barriers to high-quality education and is just another way our libraries support learning for all Wake County residents. This is a great resource that we hope all residents will take advantage of."

The courses cover cloud computing, data science, development, finance, human resources, IT operations, leadership, marketing, office productivity, project management, and sales. This move aligns with the strategic focus on Lifelong Learning and supports the mission of Wake County Public Libraries to make educational opportunities accessible to all.
