The Carolina Hurricanes secured an important victory on Sunday, marking their 11th win in March and moving them closer to a season record for home victories. The win did not reflect the typical defensive performance seen at Lenovo Center, yet Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour emphasized the importance of adaptability in his postgame comments.

"You've got to find ways [to win]...Good teams find ways to do it. Maybe it's not the way you draw it up, but you have to adapt during the game," Brind'Amour stated.

Seth Jarvis played a significant role in the victory, recording yet another multi-goal game and moving closer to a 30-goal season. Noteworthy was his fifth shorthanded goal of the season, tying a franchise record and sharing the league lead in that category. Jarvis credited Sebastian Aho for supporting his success, acknowledging his contribution to their joint league-leading shorthanded points.

The game also highlighted key contributions from Mark Jankowski and Logan Stankoven. The duo combined for quick goals, marking their fifth combined scoring in ten games since joining the team. Jankowski's performance tied him with several historical players for goals scored in his first ten games with the Hurricanes.

Carolina’s power play unit also showed improvement, scoring in their fourth consecutive game. Sebastian Aho scored a power play goal, indicating the unit's growing confidence. Taylor Hall, new to the team in January, contributed significantly to this power play streak.
