Mark Jankowski and Logan Stankoven made their debut for the Carolina Hurricanes, leaving a positive impression on both the team and fans. Despite initial nerves, Jankowski expressed his relief at contributing to the team's success. "It was a great pass by Scotty [Morrow] there," he said after scoring twice in the game. Known for his versatility, Jankowski aims to provide depth and reliability on the ice.

Stankoven also made an impact with a game-winning goal, addressing a struggling power-play unit. He emphasized the importance of positioning and anticipation in scoring goals. "At this level, it's so hard to beat goalies clean off of shots," Stankoven noted.

Both players seem to have settled into their new roles quickly, which was acknowledged by Rod Brind'Amour. "That was great for them," Brind'Amour stated, highlighting how their contributions eased their transition into the team.

The performances of Jankowski and Stankoven were praised by teammates and management alike as they look forward to continuing their journey with the Hurricanes.
