On February 19, 2025, Congresswoman Ross expressed her pride in participating in the "80th Anniversary Celebration of the Wendell-Wake NAACP." She highlighted her ongoing collaboration with the organization to "promote equity and end discrimination" within the community. "Last week, I had the honor of attending the 80th Anniversary Celebration of the Wendell-Wake NAACP. I'm always proud to work with this organization to promote equity and end discrimination in our community."

Later that day, she addressed concerns regarding potential changes to federal agencies under the administration of Co-Presidents Trump and Musk. Emphasizing Congressional authority, Ross stated that "The Department of Education was created by Congress, and Trump and Musk cannot eliminate it without Congressional approval." She assured constituents that she would do everything possible to maintain the integrity of the Department of Education. "I take my cues from my constituents, and I'll do everything I can to keep the Dept. of Ed. intact."

In another tweet posted on February 19, 2025, Congresswoman Ross criticized decisions made by Co-Presidents Trump and Musk concerning employment at key federal agencies. She warned that "Indiscriminately firing workers at agencies overseeing air safety, the rising bird flu, and our nuclear stockpile endangers every American," expressing concern over potential risks to public safety."Co-Presidents Trump and Musk are risking lives."
