Naomi Cabello, a graduate setter from Clermont, Florida, has been selected first overall in the Puerto Rican Pro League Draft by the Juncos Volleyball Federation. This announcement was made on November 1. Cabello is set to move to Juncos in January to start her professional volleyball career.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Cabello stated, "I'm beyond excited to start my professional volleyball journey in Puerto Rico, the place my parents proudly call home. Playing for Juncos feels like a full-circle moment, especially knowing my mom played pro in Puerto Rico too. NC State and my family have prepared me for this incredible opportunity. I'm ready to give it my all on and off the court."

Cabello joined the NC State Wolfpack in the spring of 2022 after spending two seasons at Texas. Over three seasons with the Wolfpack, she participated in all 87 matches. Her collegiate career statistics include 1671 assists with an average of 5.18 per set, along with 589 digs, 57 service aces, and 50 blocks.

In September 2024, Cabello earned a spot on the All-Tournament team at the South Florida Invitational after achieving a total of 45 assists. She played a key role in helping NC State defeat South Florida in four sets.

On December 2, she was named ACC Setter of the Week following performances that included recording 91 assists with an average of 10.11 per set over two matches. Additionally, she contributed 13 digs, seven blocks, three service aces, and two kills during these games. Notably, she achieved a career-high of 46 assists against RV Miami and led her team to victory over the tenth-ranked SMU Mustangs three days later with another strong performance.
