Hurricanes recall defenseman Riley Stillman from AHL affiliate

Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced the recall of defenseman Riley Stillman from the Chicago Wolves, their American Hockey League affiliate.

Stillman, aged 26, had been sidelined for the first 14 games of the Hurricanes' season due to a lower-body injury. In his time with the Wolves this season, he has contributed two assists over seven games. The Peterborough, Ontario native played for the Rochester Americans in the previous season, accumulating six points and 49 penalty minutes across 47 games.

Standing at 6’2” and weighing 207 pounds, Stillman joined Carolina as a free agent on July 3. He was initially drafted by Florida in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft and has since recorded 26 points in his NHL career spanning stints with Florida, Chicago, Vancouver, and Buffalo.
