On December 10, 2024, Congresswoman Ross attended the White House Congressional Holiday Ball with her husband, Steve. She expressed gratitude towards President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden for hosting the event. "It was great attending the White House Congressional Holiday Ball last night with my husband, Steve. Thank you to @POTUS & @FLOTUS for a beautiful evening to kick off the holidays."
The following day, December 11, 2024, she extended her best wishes to participants in Raleigh's NCFC Youth Showcase soccer event. Ross reiterated her dedication to protecting athletes from abuse in sports. "Wishing all the soccer players the best of luck in Raleigh's NCFC Youth Showcase!
