Congresswoman Deborah Ross, who has been serving North Carolina's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her participation in community events and initiatives. Ross, who succeeded George Holding and previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2003 to 2013, continues to engage with her constituents through various activities.

On November 25, 2024, Congresswoman Ross expressed her joy at attending a local tree lighting event. She stated: "Great to join friends and neighbors at this year's tree lighting. Wishing everyone in Wake County & beyond a safe and joyous holiday season!"

Later that day, she shared her pride in seeing a Christmas tree from Western North Carolina displayed at the White House. In her tweet, she remarked: "So proud to see the White House decorated with a tree from Western NC this year. Like the people of North Carolina, this tree represents strength as we continue to recover and rebuild."

The following day on November 26, Ross highlighted her involvement with Meals on Wheels ahead of Thanksgiving. She tweeted: "Everyone deserves access to a warm, nutritious meal on Thanksgiving. It was great joining Meals on Wheels ahead of Thanksgiving to help deliver meals in our community. I am grateful for the work they do to support seniors and people living with disabilities."
