The Attorney General of North Carolina, Josh Stein, has called on servicemembers who were defrauded by Harris Jewelry to submit their claims before the deadline on December 21, 2024. The process for filing claims began on November 18 and will remain open for a total of 33 days.
Servicemembers who purchased items from Harris Jewelry and paid for a Lifetime Jewelry and Watch Protection Plan are eligible to file these claims. This action follows allegations that Harris Jewelry engaged in deceptive practices affecting military personnel.
Attorney General Stein's office is urging affected individuals to take advantage of this opportunity to seek redress. "We want every eligible servicemember to get back what they deserve," stated Stein.
The call for claims submission comes as part of ongoing efforts to address grievances faced by consumers due to alleged misconduct by businesses.
