Three members of the NC State softball team have been named to the Academic All-District team, as announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday afternoon. Madison Inscoe, Amanda Hasler, and Taylor Ensley received this honor, marking the first time since 2014 that members of the Pack have achieved this recognition.

The Atlantic Coast Conference saw 29 athletes earn this distinction this season. To be nominated for the Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve at their institution.

The CSC's Academic All-America program honors top student-athletes in four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA. The selection recognizes excellence both in athletics and academics.

Madison Inscoe contributed significantly as a utility player and pitcher during the 2024 season. She played in 33 games as a designated player and pitched in 28 games. Inscoe ended the season with a .313 batting average, recording 25 hits, 20 RBIs, and five doubles. Her pitching record stood at 10-7, including a victory over South Carolina.

Amanda Hasler started all 53 games as catcher for NC State. She led her team with impressive statistics: 52 hits, 45 RBIs, and 18 home runs. Hasler also had leading percentages with .770 slugging and .444 on-base while maintaining a .351 batting average.

Taylor Ensley played right field in all 53 games for NC State during her junior year. She topped her team with 11 doubles and concluded the season with a .333 batting average alongside a .972 fielding percentage.
