After Pyotr Kochetkov's victory in net on Tuesday, Frederik Andersen is set to start this weekend's back-to-back games in Pittsburgh. The team practiced at PPG Paints Arena this morning, indicating Andersen will likely lead the team tonight. He previously delivered a 19-save performance against Tampa and returns to face Pittsburgh with the same lineup that defeated New Jersey earlier this week.

Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis, who scored their first goals of the season on Tuesday, will join Andrei Svechnikov as key forwards for the Hurricanes. The team plans to maintain the same lineup for a third consecutive game.

The betting odds for tonight's game, provided by Fanatics Sportsbook, list the Hurricanes at -150.

The projected lineup includes forwards Svechnikov, Aho, Jarvis; Roslovic, Kotkaniemi, Necas; Martinook, Staal, Carrier; Robinson, Drury, Blake. Defensemen are Slavin and Burns; Orlov and Chatfield; Gostisbehere and Walker. Andersen is expected to be the starting goaltender.

Injuries include Jesper Fast (neck injury) who is out for the 2024-25 season and Riley Stillman (lower-body injury) who is practicing. There are no scratches reported.

Power play units feature Aho, Jarvis, Necas, Svechnikov with Gostisbehere on PP1 and Blake, Drury, Kotkaniemi, Roslovic with Burns on PP2.

The game will take place in Pittsburgh at 7:00 p.m.
