NC State's Hakim Karamoko Named to ACC Men’s Soccer Preseason Watch List
RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's soccer forward Hakim Karamoko has been named to the 2024 ACC Preseason Watch List.
Karamoko, a sophomore from New York City, is the youngest player among the 15 schools in the conference on this year's watch list. He enters his second year with the Wolfpack after earning All-ACC Freshman Team honors last season. As a freshman, Karamoko tied for second on the NC State roster with four goals and ranked third with nine points.
The forward made 12 appearances last season, including starts in nonconference matches against Howard and Gardner-Webb. His four goals were scored over a five-match span beginning at Louisville and included Gardner-Webb, Syracuse, and Clemson. Notably, his goal against Clemson contributed to a 1-1 tie against the then 10th-ranked team in the country.
