RALEIGH, NC – KC Concepcion, following a standout freshman season at NC State where he set multiple records and earned ACC Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, has been named to the 2024 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver.
Concepcion was recognized as a freshman All-American by FWAA (an all-purpose player), The Athletic, PFF, 247Sports, and On3. He set NC State's freshman record for receiving touchdowns (10) and receptions (71). Those 71 catches were the sixth-best single-season mark in school history. His 839 receiving yards ranked No. 14 in the single-season record book and were the second-best in school history by a freshman.
In conference play, Concepcion ranked among the best in the ACC, placing 10th in all-purpose yards (89.2 per game) and third in receptions (5.5 per game).
Concepcion is one of two Wolfpack players named to the Preseason All-ACC Team.
The semifinalists, finalists, and award recipients are selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, comprising 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, past Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
