Home prices in Wake County during July 2023 increased compared to the same period in 2022

In July 2023, the median sale price of a home in Wake County rose by $11,000 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 39.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

Data shows that there were 706 homes sold in July 2023, with a median sale price of $476,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $465,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,173 homes sold in Wake County in July 2022.

For context, the median sales tax in Wake County, based on the latest available data from 2019, was $2,581, which stands at 0.5% of July 2023's median home sale price.
