Census Bureau: More women than men in Raleigh in 2020

Of the 469,698 people living in Raleigh in 2020, 51.7 percent (242,704) were women and 48.3 percent (226,994) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Raleigh News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 11,639. In the 65 and over age range, there were 29,781 females and 21,016 males.
