Town of Cary recently issued the following announcement.
- Cary Town Hall and most staffed facilities will be closed for the holidays December 23-27 and 31; some facilities will remain open with limited hours during this time.
- Curbside collections will remain unchanged for the weeks of December 19 and 26. The Citizen’s Convenience Center will close at noon on December 24, and will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
- GoCary will not operate on December 25, and will run a Sunday fixed-route schedule with Tier 1 only door-to-door rides on December 24 and January 1
Community and arts centers, including the Page Walker Arts History Center, Cary Arts Center, and Cary Theater, will be closed December 23-27 and December 31-January 1.
Cary Tennis Park will be closed on December 24-25 and December 31-January 1, with limited hours of noon to 10 p.m. on December 26 and January 2.
Sk8-Cary will be closed on Christmas Day, and operate on a special schedule throughout the holidays. More information and specific hours of operation can be found at townofcary.org/sk8-cary.
The Citizen’s Convenience Center will close at noon on December 24, and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Curbside collections will remain unchanged for the weeks of December 19 and 26. Citizens can find their personalized schedules at townofcary.org/collects, or in the Cary Collects app, available for download in the Android or iOS app stores.
GoCary will end service at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, with door-to-door limited to Tier 1 only. There will be no service on Christmas Day. Fixed routes will run on a regular schedule on December 26 with Door-to-Door running Tier 1 only. On New Year’s Day, fixed routes will operate on a Sunday schedule, with Door-to-Door running Tier 1 only.
