NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE: CANCELED - Flood Insurance: Protecting Consumers and Agents - Wilmington

Flood conferences new

North Carolina Department of Insurance recently issued the following announcement.

Free CE course credit for insurance agents, insurance adjusters, and real estate agents who attend flood insurance conferences.

The flood insurance conference will feature the expertise of NCDOI Chief Deputy Commissioner Dr. Michelle Osborne, AAI, ARM, and FEMA officials who, among other things, will discuss the modernization of flood maps. The updated maps will help residents who, at one time, could not purchase flood coverage because of its cost.

The conferences are also open to the public.
