Wake County Public Libraries is offering a range of holiday-themed activities and events for residents throughout December. The programs are designed for all ages and include crafts, movies, live music, and special parties for children.

Wake County Commissioner Cheryl Stallings said, “Our public libraries are hubs of creativity and community. These holiday programs are a wonderful way for families to make memories, discover new books and celebrate the season together.”

The library system is also releasing its annual booklet, “A Few of Our Favorite Things,” which features staff-recommended books for adults. This year introduces an additional guide titled “Best Books: Our Favorite Books for Kids and Teens.” Both publications aim to support readers looking for recommendations during the winter months.

All library events are free to attend, but some require advance registration. More information about the schedule and how to register can be found at https://wake.gov/Libraries.
