In her first post from that day, Cotham commended the Spectrum Center and the Charlotte Hornets for their efforts during an Atlantic Coast Conference event. She wrote: “Hats off to the Spectrum Center and @hornets for being fantastic hosts for the #ACC! Best staff around! #ncpol” (March 14, 2026).

Later that morning, she referenced an incident involving livestock with praise for law enforcement. Cotham stated: “Glad this didn’t end up too BAAAdly! Way to go @CMPD https://t.co/p4ATU9yfFU” (March 14, 2026).

In another post later that afternoon, she expressed support for a local sports team by saying: “Go Niners! https://t.co/CDUnkiVp1W” (March 14, 2026).

Cotham succeeded Wesley Harris as representative of North Carolina’s 105th House district following her election in 2025.
