Tricia Cotham, a Republican elected to the North Carolina State House in 2025 representing the state’s 105th House district, posted a series of tweets on January 2 and 3, 2026, addressing both personal moments and international developments.

On January 2, Cotham commented on a sporting event with the post: “Incredible game! https://t.co/IE4DbInvoZ”.

The following day, she turned her attention to international affairs, specifically Venezuela. On January 3, she wrote: “Wow! A historical turning point for Venezuela: renewed focus on the wellbeing of the Venezuelan people, strengthening democracy, and advancing the rule of law. Safer communities, targeted action against corruption and crime, and cooperation to restore stability and normalcy.”

Later that same day, Cotham shared another brief message: “Amen! https://t.co/6c2sF9r2RQ”.

Cotham assumed office in North Carolina’s 105th House district after winning election in 2025. She succeeded Wesley Harris as state representative.
