The Wake County Animal Center is set to transform its Community Pet Days into Rabies and Microchip Clinics, with the first event taking place on March 9. Throughout the month, the center will hold these clinics at four locations in the county, providing free rabies vaccinations and microchipping services.

"While we’re changing Community Pet Days into Rabies and Microchip Clinics, we’re excited to continue offering essential services to our community’s pets," said Wake County Commissioners Chair Susan Evans. "These events will provide great value, and we’re confident pet owners will enjoy the same level of care and convenience they’ve come to expect."

All clinics are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The free services are made possible through a collaboration between several organizations: the Wake County Animal Center, Friends of Wake County Animal Center, Dorcas Ministries, Wake County Health and Human Services, and Wake County Regional Centers.
