Goaltender Frederik Andersen is set to return to the ice for the Carolina Hurricanes as they face off against the Montreal Canadiens. This will mark Andersen's first start since February 6. Currently, he holds a record of 6-3-0 with a goals-against average of 2.12 and a save percentage of .914 this season. Despite solid performance in his last game, where he stopped 22 out of 24 shots, the team managed only one goal, resulting in a loss.

Andersen has historically performed well against Montreal, boasting a career record of 14-4-2 with a .928 save percentage and two shutouts over 20 games.

The Hurricanes plan to use the same lineup that played against Toronto on Saturday. Although they scored three goals in the third period during that game, it was insufficient after conceding four early goals.
