On January 29, 2025, Congresswoman Ross extended her wishes for the Lunar New Year. She expressed hope that those celebrating in her district and beyond would experience a prosperous "Year of the Snake with good fortune, health, and resilience."
The following day, January 30, she expressed her condolences regarding a tragic aviation accident near DCA. In her message, she stated: "My heart breaks for the families who lost loved ones in last night's devastating plane and helicopter collision near DCA." She also praised first responders for their efforts at the scene.
Later that day, Ross announced an achievement concerning mail delivery services on RTP's campus. She noted her collaboration with various parties to make this possible: "Fantastic to be with @TheRTP, @USPS, and @ValerieFoushee to announce mail delivery service on RTP's campus has been implemented."
