Congresswoman Deborah Ross, representing North Carolina’s 2nd district, shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Her posts address concerns ranging from public safety to reproductive rights and political actions.

On January 22, 2025, Congresswoman Ross expressed her concern for a Raleigh police officer injured in a shooting. She stated, "I am praying for the Raleigh police officer injured in yesterday's shooting. Thank you to our brave law enforcement and first responders who work tirelessly to keep people in our communities safe."

In another tweet on the same day, she reflected on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, lamenting the Supreme Court's decision to overturn it. Ross commented, "Over 50 years ago today, Roe v. Wade affirmed a constitutional right to access an abortion. Sadly, the Supreme Court rescinded this fundamental right. Now Trump is continuing his assault on basic rights. We'll keep up the fight for reproductive freedom."

Later that day, Congresswoman Ross criticized former President Trump's actions during his first day in office regarding pardons for violent felons. She tweeted, "Trump's first day in office was spent freeing hundreds of violent felons who attacked police officers, and House Republicans stand by his pardons. This action makes our country less safe and does nothing to help Americans. Yet Republicans are unwilling to speak out."
